My mom told me to go out and ride my bike, but I don't want to. It is too hot outside!  It must be 200 degrees! I'd probably sweat to death! Hot Stuff!

Well, maybe it's not 200 degrees outside, but how hot is it?      We can't go find a thermometer every time we want to know the temperature, but we can use what we know about temperature and just estimate. We can make an educated guess.

In America we usually use a Fahrenheit thermometer.

If we remember these three temperatures, we can estimate any other temperature.

Click each thermometer for help in making an educated guess.
