Lever

     A lever is a simple machine.   It has no moving parts.  It is used to move heavy things. 

     A lever is a bar.  It can be a stick or pole.  It could even be your finger.  It is placed under the thing you are moving.  Then the lever is pulled down to lift the heavy thing up.
