Holly talks to Kyle.  "When you think about why something happens, you are thinking about cause and effect.  The cause is why the effect happens."

"Why do the trees on the volcano burn?" says Logan.  "It is because of the hot lava."

"You mean the effect is because of the cause?" asks Kyle.
