Why Can't I Win My sister and I play this game every afternoon after school. She always wins. Why can’t I ever win?

 I’m blue and my sister is red. It is her turn if we spin red. It is my turn if we spin blue. Mom says she isn’t playing fair and that’s why she wins. Look at the spinner. How is she cheating? Type your answer in the box.

There are 12 spaces on the spinner.

 Blue = 2 out of 12Red = 10 out of 12

Since there are more red spaces, the spinner will probably land on red.

 So that’s why she always wins!

 I’m going to find a spinner that makes this game fair. Blue = 6 out of 12           Red = 6 out of 12 Now we have an equal chance to win. The spinner will probably land on red as many times as blue. This spinner is fair.

 Click on the spinners that are fair. The spinner will probably land on red the same amount of times it lands on blue.
